dr. Thomas Herget
With a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Habilitation in Medicine, Thomas Herget has lead global R&D at Merck since 2004. He’s led groundbreaking projects like Bioelectronics (chronic disease treatment), PROTACs (therapeutic breakthroughs), and Cultivated Meat (sustainable food). His teams have won multiple awards, including the “R&D 100” and he earned the Merck Research Award for his work against Ebola.

dr. Isabel Verniers
Partner at MTI²
Isabel has co-designed and led several award-winning innovation and upskilling processes across a diverse set of industries in companies such as Atlas Copco, Michelin or Dechra. Besides her consulting and mentoring work, Isabel is affiliated with the University of Ghent in the area of marketing, innovation, and organization.
Isabel has been a speaker and chair at several international conferences on the topic of change and innovation management.
