Elio Keko is a Junior Principal at MTI². Elio has coached innovation teams and helped bring innovations to market for several multinational organizations including Michelin, Merck, Aliaxis, SKF, and Baloise Insurance, among others. He has also driven academies and employee upskilling programs for companies such as Boehringer Ingelheim (marketing academy), Novartis (marketing academy), and Aliaxis (innovation & marketing academy).
Besides his consulting and coaching work, Elio is a guest professor at the University of Ghent in Belgium in the areas of marketing, innovation, and organization. He is working in several high impact research topics, specializing in the effects of innovation on company performance, and studying the benefits of crowdsourcing and grassroots (employee-based) innovation.
In this session, Elio will share his direct experience working in innovation, focusing on:
• The pitfalls to avoid for thinkers and doers when exploring the future
• Learnings on several tools that can help you combine thinking and doing in innovation
• Practical case examples on how tools helped companies bring ideas to market
