It does so in three domains: innovation, marketing and sales. In those areas, it delivers advice, training, and project implementation. Among its past and present clients are many leading companies in their own respective industries: Aliaxis, Baloise Insurance, Barco, Baxter, Bio-Techne, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Caesar Group, Dechra, Grünenthal, GSK, KLM-AirFrance, Merck, Michelin, Novartis, SABIC, Sanofi, and SKF, among others. MTI2 also received several grants of the Flemish Organization for Innovation and is a provider of choice for innovation activities at science foundations such as the Dutch Science Foundation and universities, such as Ghent University, University of Munster, Basel University, University of Liège, among others. Stremersch and his wife also lead a second-generation family company in Belgium, where they – in the trenches – grow the innovation talent of close to 100 employees (www.euromat.be).

Is a passionate endurance athlete in his “spare” time. He runs (ultra-)marathons, long distance duathlons and triathlons. He is at best an average athlete in these disciplines with as highest performance a top 10 place in his own age group in the World Championship long distance duathlon (Zofingen). He did finish all of the races he started, but one, typically somewhere middle in the pack, but always with a smile and sometimes with goose bumps.
